  • Auditions are held on the 1st day of camp.
  • Campers will need a 1-minute monologue for their audition.

Audition Resources

A monologue is a speech delivered by a single character—holds a special place in the narrative structure of a play or film. The ability to perform a monologue in a way that demonstrates performance ability, imagination, and understanding of a project’s overarching narrative is especially important for young actors.

Here are some great resources for monologues for young actors.

Several sites on line l have wonderful monologues for young people. We recommend choosing a monologue from a published play.

Does every camper get a part?

Yes. Every camper will receive a role in one of three productions.
