Past Artistic Interns

I loved working as an Artistic Intern for the 2024 New Works Festival! It was a wonderful opportunity getting to help a play transform from a living, evolving script to a staged reading and watch the collaboration that goes into writing a play.” – Isabela Estrada, 4th Annual Artistic and Producing Intern

Working as an Artistic Intern for the 2024 New Works Festival was such a wonderful experience! The entire team was so welcoming, and it was an amazing opportunity to learn about all that goes into a show’s creation, gain hands-on experience in the theatre, and participate in the development of amazing new plays!” – Lindsey Davis, 4th Annual Artistic Intern

My time working with the 2023 and 2024 New Works Festival gave me a rare glimpse into the inner workings of what transforms a story into a play. It was an incredible experience that connected me to fantastic producers, directors, actors, and of course playwrights!” – Olivia Pedigo, 3rd Annual Artistic Intern

NWF was genuinely like a defibrillator to the creative part of my brain. My love for the stage was reawakened and my eyes opened to parts of the paper to stage process I had never seen before.” – Shydeenha Bruno, 4th Annual Artistic Intern
