Pump Boys and Dinettes
May 30 - July 6, 2025; Previews 28 and 29
Highway 57 comes alive on our stage with the toe-tapping, heart-warming musical Pump Boys and Dinettes! Starring Brady Wease the star of Million Dollar Quartet and Murder for Two
Step into the world of the Double Cupp Diner and the gas station next door, where the Pump Boys (Jim, Jackson, Eddie, and L.M.) and the Dinette sisters (Prudie and Rhetta Cupp) serve up a delicious mix of country, rock, blues, and western swing. This isn’t just a show—it’s a full-tank, full-service musical experience where the cast members double as the band, playing their own instruments live on stage.
Through infectious melodies and charming storytelling, these six friends share their lives, loves, and dreams along North Carolina’s Highway 57. From the rollicking “Drinkin’ Shoes” to the touching “Sister,” every song pulls you deeper into their small-town world where the coffee is always fresh, the gas pumps are always flowing, and friendship is always on the menu.
There’s no traditional plot here—just slice-of-life vignettes and foot-stomping music that celebrates the simple joys of everyday life. It’s Americana served with a side of humor and a whole lot of heart.
So fill up your tank and your spirit with this Tony-nominated musical that reminds us all to slow down, connect with others, and savor life’s simple pleasures. “Pump Boys and Dinettes” isn’t just a night at the theater—it’s a roadside attraction you won’t want to miss!
