- MARIAN Female, 70+, energetic and outgoing.
- FRAN Female, 70+, transplanted New Yorker. Loud and opinionated.
- MACKENZIE Female, 19, preferably blonde, clean cut, LDS.
- CHASE Male, early 20’s, smart, but not as smart as he thinks.
Slaymaker by Bethany Dickens Assaf
JAY, M, Early 20’s – Brilliant player (Magic: The Gathering), separated from his wife, struggles to find direction, living on his best friend’s couch.
MEGHAN, F, Early 20’s – Brilliant player (Magic: The Gathering) separated from Jay, starting her own life, struggles with love of the game and the masculine world of the players
CORY, M, 20’s – Queer Identifying. Jay’s best friend, manages the card shop, sees the best in people.
ORI, F, 20’s-30’s – Queer Identifying. Cousin of Meghan and very protective of her, not a card player.
24 Hour Play Project

Characters
- Dr. Dale Seslick: Seminar Leader. Cool, Calm, Collected, Charismatic, and many other words beginning with C. Never stumped for an answer. Training Seminar Leader.
- Judy O’Dea: Dr. Dale’s second in command. Scientific to a fault. Smart and to the point. Attempts to control the other two members of the team but often gets drawn into the insanity…but Everything is normal.
- Donald Straite: Survivalist. Conspiracy theorist and has attempted and succeeded in many difficult training exercises. Wants to be involved in all aspects but can be distracted when there is a want to flirt with the audience.
- Tristen Granger: Dr. Dale’s nephew. Tries so hard but has no clue what is going on at any point. Childish wonderment – earnest until mind drifts to puppies and clouds.
