The Fab Four from the Jersey Shore are here to stay!
That means two more weeks of beach balls, bubble guns, big laughs, and of course The Bikinis! The Bikinis have been delighting sold out audiences night after night and receiving rave reviews from all. Be the next to soak up the smash hit songs of the sixties and seventies that have had audiences singing all summer long. Make sure to catch the can’t miss show of the summer!
“THE BIKINIS” brings you back to the songs of the 60’s and 70’s, with an incredible array of the most familiar and beloved music of a generation. These original “Jersey Girls” bring their sass, charm and talent to save the homes they grew up in from condo tycoons looking to make a profit. Based on a true story, “The Bikinis” is the ultimate tale of the underdog, with a bouncing beat to back ’em!
THE BIKINIS features Jersey Girls Jodi, Annie, Karla and Barbara – they’ve got big hearts, big hair, and even bigger voices as they bring the sun, fun and all the great songs they sang down on the boardwalk of the Jersey Shore to raise money for the good folks at Sandy Shores Mobile Home Beach Resort.
The Hipp is known for it’s incredibly entertaining summer musicals, with past hits like “Avenue Q,” “The Great American Trailer Park Musical,” and “The Marvelous Wonderettes” captivating thousands of audience members each and every summer. “The Bikinis” promises to be the “must-see” event of the summer with the hottest tickets and the coldest drinks.
It’s a nonstop celebration of song and dance with unforgettable tunes like IT’S IN HIS KISS, YELLOW POLKA DOT BIKINI, HEAT WAVE, UNDER THE BOARDWALK, THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN’, I’M EVERY WOMAN, I WILL SURVIVE, IT’S RAINING MEN and many more!
Don’t miss Gainesville favorites Kelly Atkins and Catherine Fries Vaughn (reunited after their sold-out, smash-hit run in “THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL”) and new to the Hipp stage welcome Wydetta Carter and Melanie Souza!
