“I live on blood. But I am not… that… can I come in?”
The Hippodrome Theatre is proud to present LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, by Jack Thorne and based on the Swedish novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Directed by Lauren Warhol Caldwell, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is on stage from Oct. 12 through Nov. 4, with discount previews on Oct. 10 and Oct 11.
“LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is a tale of two outsiders finding their love for each other,” said Lauren Warhol Caldwell, Artistic Director of the Hippodrome Theatre and director of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. “It is beautiful and haunting,” Caldwell said, “But it is not your typical vampire story.”
LET THE RIGHT ONE IN was adapted by Jack Thorne, the Tony award winning playwright of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child currently running on Broadway. Jack Thorne also wrote the book for the much-anticipated Broadway adaptation of King Kong. LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is based on the novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist and the Swedish film by the same name, the Hollywood film is called LET ME IN. This captivating piece is a tender vampire myth told through the turbulence of a coming-of-age romance.
