“Toogood’s Eli is young and ageless. Sensual and sexless. Innocence and evil. Now she is all painful adolescence (“Do I smell bad?”). Now she moves with the fluidity of a panther in full pounce…” wrote Ron Cunningham, The Gainesville Sun.
“It is cold blood spilled across blue ice, and madness scattered amongst the cedars and, for all that, a tender warmth that lingers still in the undead blood of a not-girl…”
LET THE RIGHT ONE IN is written by Jack Thorne, based on the internationally best-selling Swedish novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist that was then turned into a Swedish cult film by the same name and the dark Hollywood flick LET ME IN.
“The choreography of movements, at times, is almost a ballet,” wrote Don Simson, Villages-News.com
Playwright Jack Thorne wrote the book for the much-anticipated Broadway adaptation of King Kong. Thorne is also the Tony-award winning co-playwright of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child currently running on Broadway.
This captivating piece is a tender vampire myth told through the eyes of a sweet, yet turbulent coming-of-age romance. “It is beautiful and haunting,” Caldwell said, “But it is not your typical vampire story.”
