Front of House Representatives are responsible for patrons during theater performances and rental events.
This position reports to the Rentals Coordinator. Multiple openings available.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • training and supervising volunteer ushers;
  • communicating with the stage manager and box office staff during and in advance of performances;
  • ensuring the safety of all patrons during performances and rentals;
  • preparing public areas for patrons before performances and locking up the building after performances.

Minimum of 15 hrs/week during performance weeks. Extended night time and weekend hours required.

Preferred Skills/Attributes:

  • must have a professional appearance at all times;
  • experience in dealing with the public of all ages;
  • sensitivity to the needs of patrons;
  • upbeat, enthusiastic attitude in public relations;
  • ability to enforce department safety regulations and communicate the same to the public;
  • attention to detail;
  • ability to work independently without much direct supervision;
  • serving / bartending experience a plus;
  • First Aid and Adult CPR certification a plus – Crowd Control training provided upon hiring.
