The Hippodrome Theatre is proud to present an exclusive Sip & Stroll behind-the-scenes tour of the Hippodrome Theatre with Bob Robins, Resident Lighting Designer, Production Manager and Facilities Manager, and 30+ year employee of the Hippodrome on Sunday, October 21 at 4 p.m.
This tour gives you access to the sights and secrets of the Hipp normally off-limits to the public. Any questions you may have had in what it takes to get a production up onto the Hippodrome Mainstage – this is your chance to find out. You will take a journey that leads you into the basement (Hipp Lower Level), and even venture up to the little-known third floor, where Hipp employees work daily to keep Gainesville Hipp!
Call the Box Office at 352.375.4477 or visit thehipp.org for tickets.
The Hippodrome Theatre is proud to partner with the University of Florida School of Music to bring the Hippodrome Jazz Series to the Hipp Lower Level starting Monday, September 10, 2018. Doors are at 7:00 p.m. and the music is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Hippodrome Jazz series presents a range of jazz musicians who will play select Mondays and Thursdays through the months of September, November and October 2018.

As a centerpiece of culture in downtown Gainesville, the Hippodrome Theatre is proud to host such talented musicians at the Lower Level and hope that when people think jazz, they come to the Hipp.
