The Hippodrome and UF Center for Arts in Medicine present “The Pink Unicorn”

The Hippodrome and UF Center for Arts in Medicine are proud to present a special one-time-only short play, “The Pink Unicorn” on Monday, July 17 at 7 p.m. Panel discussion immediately following Hippodrome Cinema, 25 SE 2nd Place, Gainesville. Free and open to the public.
What’s a mother to do when her daughter tells her that she will be attending high school as “gender-neutral”? Elise Forier Edie’s “The Pink Unicorn” is a funny, clever, and heartwarming tale of a mother’s boundless love for her child. “Not all art is political, but the work that is can help drive important conversations, act as an entry point and even change minds. The Pink Unicorn has the power to do that with gender diversity.”
