Thursday, February 28 PhD Student Jordan Dominy from UF's English
department and representatives presents “Old Savannah New South: John Berendt's
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." The talk will examine Berendt's
portrayal of Savannah as a place insistent on the values of the Old South
and whether or not this portrayal is flattering or justified. Audience
questions are encouraged. Smathers Library East, Room 1A, University
