Meet the Actors

Mackenzie Curran (Miss Poppenghul)
Mackenzie is very happy to be returning to the Hipp stage after just completing her role as Pickles in the summer production of The Great American Trailer Park Musical. A musical theatre major at UF, Mackenzie has recently been seen as Senator Fipp in Urinetown, the Musical, and Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly! She would like to thank her family for their support, and the Lord for his continued faithfulness. "I can do all things through Christ." -Phil. 4:13
Cameron Francis* (David O. Selznick)
Cameron is thrilled to be returning to the Hippodrome stage. Past appearances at the Hippodrome include roles in Mere Mortals, Rounding Third, War of the Worlds, Life X 3, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Shear Madness as well as many other productions. Off- Broadway: Dick Sanford in The Flashing Stream (Mirage Theatre Company). Bryan Garey* (Ben Hecht)
A Baltimore native, Bryan spent two years playing Nick O'Brien in the Chicago production of Shear Madness. Hippodrome audiences may remember him as the foul-mouthed Bill from last season's, The Sleeper. Bryan has also appeared at the Hipp in The Underpants, Our Town, and Mere Morals. Other notable roles include John Merrick in The Elephant Man, Ellard Simms in The Foreigner, Chris Keller in All My Sons, King Arthur in Camelot, and Don Juan in Don Juan. Bryan has worked with many theatres companies in Chicago and along the East Coast, including the Folger Shakespeare Library, Heritage Repertory Theatre, Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Source Theatre, Olney Theatre, Folio Theatre, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival, and Shakespeare on the Green. Film and television credits include Exorcist III and CryBaby. Bryan is a graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland (BA) and the University of Virginia (MFA).
Gregory Jones* (Victor Fleming)
Gregg 's first performance on the Hippodrome stage was in their 1979 production of They Shoot Horses Don't They?. Since then, he has played various roles in more than 40 shows at the theatre. Recent roles on this stage include Tom in Dinner With Friends, Salvador Dali in Hysteria, Adrian in Private Eyes, Leslie, Phyllis and Tom in Sylvia, and Sid Caesar in Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Gregg also appeared in the role of Lord Montague in Romeo & Juliet and Detective Nick Rosetti in the record-breaking run of Shear Madness. Film and television credits include Waterways, She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not, and Miami Vice. He is also one of two actors who appear in two or more Victor Nunez films; A Flash of Green and Coastlines. Gregg is currently a tenured professor of Theatre at Santa Fe Community College, where he has been a faculty member for the past 18 years.
