Student Matinee Series
Take your students on a field trip to the Hipp! Every year, the Hippodrome Theatre offers 10:00 am performances of select shows to provide Gainesville area teachers with unique opportunities to expose their students to the magic of live theatre! Playgoer’s Guides are available to help teachers integrate the play into their curriculum. After each show, the cast engages the students in a question-and-answer “talkback” session about the set, costumes, and much more!

Cost
Student tickets are only $8.00, and groups will receive one free teacher/chaperone ticket with the purchase of every 10 student tickets. Additional teacher/chaperone tickets are only $18.00.
Booking your field trip is as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Determine the showtime that you will attend and the estimated number of students and adults in your group. Get school approval and confirm transportation.
2) Contact the Hippodrome to book your reservation*. We will reserve your seats and fax you a confirmation with a deadline to adjust your head count and submit payment.
3) By the deadline, you will confirm your final head count and submit one complete payment to the Hippodrome.
*Reservations are not finalized until you have received a confirmation, signed it, and faxed it back to the Hippodrome.
