Our Box Office can take care of all your ticketing needs
Buy Tickets Online:
We offer a secure site to purchase online. You will automatically be given the best available seats. During the ticketing process, you will be told which seats are the best available. When you have obtained your seating location, go on to the secure check out and pay with any major credit card. You may have your tickets mailed to you at an additional cost of $3; otherwise, the tickets will be available at Will Call.

Season Subscriptions:
Season subscriptions are available for the current season. There are six plays scheduled for the season. You get the same seats for every performance. Of particular interest is the subscription to the opening nights for the entire season, complete with a chance to meet the cast afterwards. Or choose the Flex Subscription option: attend the shows you want, when you want.
Box Office Hours
The Box Office is located on the porch of The Hippodrome State Theatre, 25 SE 2nd Place, Gainesville, FL 32601. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from noon - 9:00pm & Sunday from noon - 8:00pm, closed Mondays. Our phone number is 352-375-4477. Tickets can be purchased over the phone using American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. Tickets will be at Will Call or can be mailed for a nominal fee. Tickets can also be purchased at the Box Office using cash or check.
Patrons with Disabilities
The Hippodrome State Theatre is dedicated to providing persons with disabilities the necessary measures for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities is available on a first-come first-served basis. Be sure to mention your interest in wheelchair accessible seating when placing your ticket order.
Listening Devices
Earpieces are available from the House Manager to assist our hearing impaired patrons who want to see the play. Headsets are available from the projectionist for hearing impaired patrons to assist with amplification and clarity for the movie. They are lightweight and can be used in all sections of each theatre. Receivers and earphones are available free of charge and may be signed out prior to the performance. You will need to leave either a driver's license or a credit card until the headsets are returned.
Group Tickets

Student Discounts
Discounts are available to all full time students, of any age. Official full time student I.D. cards must be shown when picking up student tickets at the Will Call window prior to the performance. Senior Discounts
Seniors, 60 and older get tickets for $20 for all performances. For further information, please call our Box Office during business hours at 352-375-4477.
Theatre Policies
We ask for patron cooperation regarding the following:- Because of Fire Department regulations, all persons, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend any performance at the Hippodrome State Theatre.
- Patrons, of any age, whose behavior is not appropriate, will be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be given once the curtain has gone up and the show has begun.
- Please turn off, or onto vibrate, all cell phones and pagers.
- Cameras, tape recorders or any other recording devices are not permitted in either theatre.
- Food is not permitted in the Mainstage theatre. Drinks may be permitted for some shows (ask your bartender). Food & drink are permitted in the Cinema theatre.
- Smoking, lit matches or lit lighters are not allowed anywhere inside the Hippodrome State Theatre.
