Dear Patrons,

During the upcoming season, the Hippodrome faces extreme financial challenges due to severe Federal, State and Local grant cuts, totally nearly $500,000. The theatre is asking for your support to meet our ambitious goals of increasing tickets sales, subscriptions and donations by 20% in 2008-09. In addition to supporting the theatre financially, we have developed opportunities for you to participate cost-free, through our new Friends of the Hippodrome campaign. Please let us know how you'd like to help by singing up below. With your support we can continue to bring you the incredible productions and innovative programming that we have provided over the past 35 years.

Sign up for monthly promotional emails describing the theatre's upcoming shows, events, promotions and campaigns to forward to your friends, family and colleagues so they know what's happening at the Hipp.

… and email your friends with personal reviews encouraging them to also attend.

Sponsorship Endorsement

Demonstrate your support to prospective businesses by adding your signature to a sponsorship letter and/or by sending this letter out yourself to your corporate friends.

Distribute Promotional Materials

Distribute Hipp promotional materials in public places (condo building, e.g.) or pass them out to meetings/ groups/ organizations.

Corporate Support Materials

Approach businesses and organizations for support. Review our list of potential sponsor, and indicate if you have contacts at these businesses and if you'd be willing to participate in a fundraising meeting with our Development Director.

Friends of Hippodrome Subscription

We've developed a new promotion especially for you! Tell your friends to call and mention your name when buying a subscription. They'll receive a six ticket flex pass for $125 ($25 off the regular price). This special promotion will begin Tuesday, August 5th and run through Sunday, November 9th. The Hipp Friend who sells the most subscriptions will receive a Mainstage performance dedicated in their honor.
