Are you looking to fuse your love for the arts with the writing skills you’ve been developing in college? Do you have a can-do attitude and a focus on creating quality content? And do you like to have fun? Then the Hipp’s marketing internship might be for you!
As a marketing intern, you’ll be responsible for getting people to buy into the Hippodrome. Sure, we want people to buy tickets to our Mainstage shows and cinema screenings. But we also want them to buy into this place that we love so much. The Hippodrome is a true cornerstone of downtown Gainesville, and your job as a marketing intern is to make sure that the community doesn’t just know that — they feel it. We want you to get people flowing in through our doors, excited about our programming and our mission.
While working with our marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to create original content for our website and social media pages. You’ll become one of the most in-the-know people about the downtown area. You’ll be pushed to flex your creative muscles and produce meaningful work. If you’re up for the challenge, we think you’ll really enjoy yourself.
This internship includes working at the theatre during weekday office hours, as well as occasionally working evening/weekend Mainstage performances.
Positions are available for Spring 2017. This is a part-time internship. Reports to the Managing Director and Marketing Assistant.
