Eddie needs to get into the only convenience store open in a thirty mile radius to get jumper cables. Eddie is baffled when he realizes he can't enter the store because it has two "exits" and no entrance. Thaddeus the "cashier" of the store, and Lucas, the "manager," are of no help as they amuse themselves with Eddie's hopeless arguments as to why the should let him enter though the exit. Taking place in one real-time scene in the doorway of the convenience store, Eddie tries desperately to get into the store while the duo pleasantly rebuffs his attempts. Cracks begin to appear in Eddie's story, and one begins to question what his true intentions for entering the store.

Roy has had it with his dad. How could the man take Roy away to go camping on the day Depression Inc. was supposed to be in town? Roy travels into the forest to mull things over under the guise that he’s gathering firewood. All of a sudden, a fox jumps out of the brush and mauls him. He quickly loses blood and consciousness. Things only get stranger when he wakes up in a bizarre cabin with a fairy, Good, protector of the forest and giver-outer of justice! Through witty banter, Good convinces Roy to capture Evil, the other fairy, because she is “causing all the animals to turn so darn evil.”
