  15. What is the play(s) for Summer Spectacular/Class Act?

  16. The plays for summer 2008 are still to be decided upon. Last year's performances included versions of The Odyssey and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

  17. What is necessary for auditions?

  18. A one-minute monologue. No poems for children that are over the age of 8. Auditions will be on the first day of camp. If they don't have a monologue from a play, take a passage from a favorite book, etc… Try to de-emphasize the audition - it is simply a tool for the directors to determine how comfortable the child is in front of people, volume, etc… ALL CHILDREN WILL GET A ROLE IN THE PLAY.

  19. Is my child required to have prior experience?

  20. No. Our goal is for the children to have a fun, educational break. There will be a mixture of experiences in the group, from children who are just beginning to children who have been in plays before.
