With baskets full of costumes and a trunk full of props, children in this summer camp are encouraged to imagine whole worlds and bring stories to life. During each half-day or full-day camp, your child will be able to paint their stage sets and design their costumes, as well as work together to create their own play! Parents and friends will be invited to the ensemble’s showcase on the second-to-last day of camp. Drop-off is at 9:00 a.m. Pick-up is at 2:00 p.m. for half-day campers and 5:00 p.m. for full-day campers.REGISTER ONLINE
Teens enrolled in the Tech Track will take on the technical aspects of the Junior and Teen productions of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe after receiving hands-on instruction from the Hippodrome’s professional production team in lighting and sound design and stage management. They will participate in some of their age group’s workshops, but they will break off into their own sessions to take on the roles of sound & light crew, stage manager and assistant stage manager; and will help design, set cues and operate the technical aspects of the camp productions.REGISTER ONLINE
