Description

A family. A diagnosis. A phone call. One family’s journey through cancer…

A unique and powerful educational resource for patients, family members, medical professionals, and all persons whose lives have somehow been touched by cancer.

Adapted from the award-winning book, “A Natural History of Family Cancer,” the conversations portrayed in “When Cancer Calls…” are drawn from the only known recordings in the history of the social and medical sciences between an actual cancer patient and her family members. From diagnosis through death of a loved one (mother/wife/sister), these interactions – 61 phone calls over 13 months – are at once extraordinary, yet strikingly familiar, to all who have encountered them.
