On May 1, join us in the Hippodrome’s basement space to celebrate the stories of women through the ages. The Mother Line Project is a storytelling collective and an incubator for female expression. It began as an initiative to generate original work for female voices and has since expanded into a multimedia platform for all those who identify as women.
The May 1 event will be the project’s first time debuting outside of New York. Come join us for a night of stories told by local Gainesville women and lead by Lauren Nordvig, one of the project’s co-producers and an actress in the Hippodrome’s production of Hamlet. The night is meant to empower and inform, and the event is open to all ages and genders. The themes for the performances are Ritual, Recipe and Reunion.
This will be an evening you don’t want to miss!
