Hope Boynton
Hope is very excited to be performing at the Hippodrome Theatre for the first time.  She is no stranger to Florida, having recently appeared in Hello Dolly, Godspell and Oklahoma at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.  Hope spent most of last year aboard the MS Norwegian Sea performing in Grease.  She is a graduate of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University.  Favorite roles include Velma in Chicago, Joan in Dames at Sea, Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, Dainty June in Gypsy and Lucy in A Christmas Carol.  Hope is thrilled to be doing Beehive again. “Let’s Rock!”
Rebekah Durham
Rebekah is pleased to return to the mainstage after playing a Vixen in Dracula and Mrs. Fezzwig in A Christmas Carol earlier this season.  She just completed a county-wide tour of Lauren Caldwell’s To Be or Not To Be…That Is Two Questions.  Rebekah’s theatrical credits include: Fannie in Fannie Quigley at Alaska Cabin Night in Denali Park, Alaska, Rosie Alvarez in Bye Bye Birdie and Monica Kent in Dames at Sea at the Capitol Theatre in Rome, New York.  She was born in Tangier, Morocco, and attended Middle Tennessee State University near Nashville where she studied theater.  Other memorable roles include Malcolm in Macbeth, Rossignol in Marat/Sade, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Gymnasia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and the Leading Player in Pippen.  She would like to thank Lauren for the opportunity to work on this show with these fabulous women!
LaVon Fisher*
LaVon is a familiar face here at the Hippodrome.  She appeared in A Christmas Carol 1996 as the Spirit of Christmas Past and The Neighbor Woman in A Streetcar Named Desire.  Having earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting at the University of Florida, she recently appeared at the Constans Theatre as the Witch in Into the Woods, Geneva in 1940s Radio Hour, Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Dorine in Tartuffe and as The Acid Queen in The Who’s Tommy at the Seaside Music Theatre.  LaVon recently competed at the American College Theatre Festival and brought home the gold a second time as the Southern Regional Winner.
Jessica Grandey
Jessica is an undergraduate Theatre student at the University of Florida.  Her recent appearances have included roles in Zara Spook and Other Lures, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Equus.  Thanks to the Hippodrome and the UF Department of Theatre and Dance for all the opportunities.
Stephanie Roberts*
Stephanie Roberts is proud to make her Hippodrome debut in its season closer, Beehive.  She’s just finished a successful run of Decades at the Tampa Performing Arts Center and Eubie! at the Florida Studio Theatre.  Among other credits, she has frequently been seen at the American Stage Company where she killed ‘em last spring as Lady M in Macbeth.  Stephanie was recently awarded a grant from the Arts Council of Hillsborough County to produce her own one-woman show, which will open this July in Tampa’s Off-Center Theater.
Cindy Thrall* (Dance Captain) Cindy spent the better part of last year touring Europe in a production of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show.  For Merry Go Round Playhouse she portrayed Sheila in Chorus Line and for Jean Ann Ryan Productions was Z’s Favorite in Will Rogers Follies.  Cindy’s played roles in productions of On the Town, Detective Story, Singin’ In the Rain, and a globe-trotting version of Beehive.  She did the second national tour of Grand Hotel and has sung with MCA recording artist Meat Loaf.  This one is for H.H.
