“A person who won’t read has no advantage over one who can’t read.” - Mark Twain
Louder than Words tells the story of a kingdom where books were banned before Sophie was born. The authors have been exiled to a far away, barren land. When Sophie gets an unexpected visit from Mark Twain and his author cohorts, she and the other children start a revolution to get books back. While the authors want to be remembered, and the children fight for their right to read stories, the timid, 90s slang-using King and his trusty adviser, Marni, fall under the spell of local anti-book advocate Willemina.
