2012 Hippodrome Play Observership for
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM
Ever wanted a behind-the-scenes look at how the Hippodrome brings a production from the page to the stage? Meet the theatre professionals that put it all together in this engaging session that will lead you through the creative process of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Shakespeare’s fantastical comedy of star-crossed lovers and woodland high-jinx. Participants will witness the 1st rehearsal with cast read-thru, designer presentations, observation of rehearsals and other elements of the artistic process including a tour of the unique theatre building and its interesting history. The Observership ends with a preview performance and post-show session with the cast and creative team. Price of preview ticket included! Gift certificate can be issued in lieu of the preview ticket.
